The Wild Atlantic Way is a trail on the west coast, offers stunning views of the surrounding area with fantastic panoramic views over the town and across the bay to the mountains beyond. You travel a narrow road and come to a car park and picnic area way up over Bantry town. As you can see in my photography, that is Whiddy Island in the background.
