This is your day 46 of the #Seven77 Challenge!
Today's push-up is a bit more technical but I break things down for nearly all fitness levels.
The Reaching Plank Push-Up is what I would consider to be a balance exercise! These bad boys (or girls!) employ ALL your core muscles! Your going to notice it trust me! Talk about doing double, triple, quadrupedal duty hey!?
Using the element of surprise is the surest way to ramp up strength in your core and these ones are sure to do just that!
Now here's my stats... My clients get an average of 326% improvement in core strength over the course of 12 weeks. I ascribe most of it to this surprise principle!
The thing to remember is that core muscles are endurance muscles... They are used to going alllllllll day! So that's why keeping things fresh and surprising your core with new moves is ALWAYS best way to do that!
The core supports ALL movement throughout the body so guess what!? IT'S PRETTY DARN IMPORTANT TO HAVE A STRONG CORE!
