I have been slowly moving from a mindset of just getting by to truly believing in abundance.
Though I did some serious rewiring already, I am starting to see how stuck I have been in that scarcity mindset.
Limiting myself for decades....
Because planning a future feels like a luxury when survival is the focus.

Well, well, well, I think today is a very clear sign, and could I have seen it happening .....or not?
It´s been a lot lately, so much to take in, and yesterday I already felt a bit lost for words.
Today, I woke up a bit more tired than usual. It had not been a bad night, and the coffee did its duty.
It looked to be a nice, lazy Saturday, and then... that pain in my lower back. It has been gone for months; I think it has not been this bad in over a year, to be honest.
My muscles a little tired, my head a little achy, but I pushed on. It will pass, it always does, finish what you are doing, and then take a nice break.
I took the break, but nothing changed.
I sent myself to bed, I rested, but did not sleep.
The rest was so welcome, I did not want to do anything anymore. If possible, the whole day, but well, that is a bit of a waste of a perfectly good Saturday.
So here I am, telling myself to be grateful, telling myself to listen to my body, telling myself to take it slow.
Today I have time, abundant time, to give myself that rest my body is asking for.
Grateful that I have the time, and even more grateful if tomorrow I can once again enjoy a day with the ones I love.
Thank you for making it this far....for those who know me...or better, think they know me, this might have been a WTF moment.
There are many sides to all of us, some sides we hide, even from ourselves.
I can be an opinionated little prick, a loving father, or simply a lost soul.
“If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is: infinite.”
— William Blake, The Marriage of Heaven and Hell
Jim Morrison named The Doors after this concept. I agree that reality is filtered through our limited perceptions. But we can Break On Through to the other side.
"There are things known and things unknown, and in between are the doors."
— Jim Morrison
Our minds filter & reduce everything to a digestible and categorizable size, but in the process, we lose sight of the infinite abundance that surrounds us.
