Placing buildings with a mouse is just the way that it is supposed to be. I remember when Starcraft came out on Sega Genesis and I was just thinking "how the hell are they going to do that?" I never did see it, but I am sure it wasn't great.

I run purely Linux at the moment and it is notorious for not being terribly compatible with games. Perhaps I will take a look one day and fiddle with it regardless.
