The great thing about PC gaming is the backwards compatibility. I am probably forever stuck in the late 90s to mid 2000s as far as PC gaming goes. There were so many games I wanted to play back then that I missed out on because my computer at the time (it had 64 megs of RAM, MEGS, not gigs).

I tried playing games like Command & Conquer on the original PlayStation and since that was all I had, it was a decent experience. It did not compare to playing with a keyboard and mouse. I tried the various sims over the years on consoles from the 3D helicopter games by EA on Sega Genesis to one really good one on Sega CD by someone else. Again, once I played those same, or similar, games on PC, I do not believe I went back to the consoles for those types of games.

Night and day difference.
