WATP #13 Reward - Arjay receiving his HBD15.585

Hello everyone! @romeskie here again, last week's guest presenter for #whoaretheyphilippines. Every week, @whoaretheyph features different persons randomly selected by @iamyohann, and the post payout, together with the contributions accumulated from the contributors are handed over to the featured person. @ybanezkim has also made a guest feature where he featured Ate Bitiliana. Last week, I brought #whoaretheyph to Taguig City, Metro Manila featuring Kuya Arjay, the buko vendor.

On the new format of @whoaretheyph, the feature is posted on Tuesday morning and the turnover video on Friday morning. I received the email with the details for Arjay's reward on Tuesday morning but since Arjay only stays on his spot until 12 noon, I went to his stall the following morning.

Here's the breakdown for Arjay's contributions and payout:

This amount was converted to peso and it was Php 718.78. I rounded it up to Php 750.

Here is Arjay receiving his reward. Behind him is the Christmas themed paper bag containing the books that my little girl prepared for Arjay's 3-year-old kid. I must say @iamyohann is doing an amazing job capturing everything from the interviews to the reward handover. I felt really awkward during the turn over because of the customers looking at us while we were talking which made me forget a lot of details (like turning the camera back on to record the turn over).

Arjay was very much happy and thankful behind his facemask. It started drizzling a little bit when I got to his shop so I had to cut the visit short.
