Earlier I had said I was staying home today to make phone calls. One of those phone calls yielded an interview and I start working tomorrow. It is a try out more or less but I do not anticipate any problems with the work.
The job is fairly straight forward and simple. I will be making anti-erosion straw wattles. I cannot help the sense of relief that I feel not to mention a healthy dose of excitement. This period has been extremely stressful. Quite a few of you have left helpful comments and have been very supporting. I cannot thank this community enough.
I start at 9 am tomorrow and it is a full time job. I was supposed to start earlier but they called while I was writing this and moved it back because the person that is going to show me what I will be doing cannot get there until then. There is so much I am going to be learning and I also find that exciting. I love learning new things and it is even a job that helps the environment.
