Yes, many of us feel the hope of these tokens holding value is higher than Steem as many of the largest and worst actors of Steem aren't devaluing them.

There is nothing to stop them eventually getting listed on exchanges as many ETH tokens are.

(we aren't there yet.)

Steem can't hold value with SteemIt and large investors doing so little to promote and add value.
