By tribe you are pointing to the Steem engine tokens being created to reward (using that term loosely) different ideas? If so, a question please as I have seen no benefit to playing that game.

Where is the Steem flowing to buy into those endeavors?

I am assuming that one is paying with Steem at some point in exchange for gaining these other tokens that aren't and likely never will be listed on the exchanges. Are the owners of these new tokened communities selling off some or all of the Steem tokens they are acquiring for issuing their tokens?

Appreciate any insights you can give. I see some posts about communities and new tokens etc but not sure I am understanding this correctly. If I am, I don't see the value in exchanging the valued token (granted it continues to slip in value and rank) for one that isn't really valued at all.
