On some exchanges Bitcoin, BTC hit $9000 this evening. Each prediction I hear sounds more outrageous then the last, yet Bitcoin does it.
I know it sounds like a lot of money, but when I look at the charts it doesn't seem like a crazy jump up. It just seems amazing, due to stagnant growth for so long.
As of mid-afternoon today Coinbase.com had 100k new accounts created this weekend. I know many are calling bubble and although there may be consolidation in site, my overall view of the Bitcoin market is that this is the beginning of mainstream adoption.
