The last few weeks it’s as if my life was threatening to take everything I worked towards the last few years and take it away from me. My relationship and my work, me dreams of independence from a company and still the ability to live here in a place where that’s not really a thing.

The first 4 lawyers I talked to all recommended against self-sponsorship because they generally don’t deal with cases like that. Since time is running out I was so worried that I’d be forced to leave the country (in a repeat of what happened two years ago).

At the same time as all that my crypto portfolio was going through the roof! I have never seen it so high. I sure as hell did a good job to really get into bitcoin hardcore at 5k last year! My hive even started moving up a bit!

Part of me is on that “it’s all good” vibe and the other half is seriously tired as shit and feels like curling up in a ball and getting shipped back to my home country. I’ll do what I can but I am extremely exhausted.

Finally I found a lawyer who seems to know what he’s taking about when it comes to sled sponsorship. He’s not in the same city so I don’t know how much he can help but at least I can get an online consultation and learn about the situation so that maybe I can do it myself.

I’m still not sure if there is enough time but this gives me some peace of mind that even if I have to look for a full time job, sometime in the first half of next year I’ll be able to go completely solo and sponsor my own visa.

So as soon as I accepted the worst case scenario, there was some silver lining and then bam! My coworker told me my boss is thinking about changing his mind. While I think his fickleness is a little bit absurd, that would sure make things easier. The visa would be a piece of cake then and I could take 3-4 months to figure out the self sponsorship and make sure I do it right the first time, and not have deportation on my mind.

Meanwhile, I find out the good news and the markets crash! It’s alright, I know this is just a normal correction, it’s just funny, this dance I’m taking part in.

Good on my brother for making his first trade and going into stable coins at 19k! He’s looking for a good level to buy back in. I’m seriously impressed. Let’s see if I can get him into Hive...I think he’d fit right into build-it@build-it ....he likes fixing the house and making stuff with wood and cars and all that!

I’m waiting for the first all time high where we are overextended to take some profits and try and do what my brother did. From that level I feel comfortable playing with about 25% of my bitcoin. It’s at that level that I’ll feel like even if I end up selling to soon, I’ll have made enough profit that it’ll be nice to have some cash to reinvest in some project or other. Hive below $0.25 is always extremely attractive to me! In my mind, Hive is always a dollar so when I see it this low, I wish I had more money to buy in!

Back to life....

So perhaps all this stress will be lifted off my shoulders before long. I sure as hell hope so. Then I can get my life moving in a nice direction again. It’s been moving in a good direction but I still feel like I’ve got to “get back on my feet” as in have a direction I’m moving in.

I’m ok floating around, it’s just not what I’m in the mood for anymore. Me and the universe will figure this out.

Ah! ❤️ 😭 ❤️
