After seeing bitcoin in the news so often I realized it's not long before it really goes mainstream. Yes, perhaps there is more money to be made in other coins, but if bitcoin really becomes a trend among the masses, it will easily be worth multiple millions per coin. Unless crazy regulations hit hard and soon or unless there is a massive hack, that day is very near.
And as of 2 hours ago I still had 0 crypto besides STEEM
After all my hard work on steemit I thought I owed it to myself to make sure I don't completely miss the chance to take advantage of this window of opportunity.
So today I took my buddy @macchiatta 's advice and downloaded Exodus
I just downloaded it from their site and now I have my very own wallet.
I used blocktrades to transfer 20 measly steem to bitcoin (because that's all I have) and within minutes I had my first fractions of a bitcoin, something like .0018 BTC or $20.22 USD worth of BTC
I scouted around the wallet to understand it a bit more and after 5 minutes suddenly...
This was the happiest I've ever been for 28 cents! Now I get what you are all on about!
Awesome!!!
:-(
I just want to catch the train before it runs away. I will try to invest a little bit into 5 or 6 coins and just sit on them for a few months or years and see what happens. My current goal is to get $100 USD worth of 5 currency. If I see an opportunity I will reinvest some into bitcoin and from my earnings I will change 20% into hard cash.
I don't plan to do much posting relating to investment as the topic doesn't really interest me much but since it was my first time I thought I'd share!
My bitcoin wallet is......wait....I'm still not sure if it's safe to share my wallet number. What do you knowledgable people think?
Anyway if you would like to give me a gift make it STEEM for now, I'll pick up some litecoin when I can and be cool like all of you ;-P
