Is it better to shitpost or create a really good content?

Sometimes I feel like I'm a new guy on this blockchain, I simply don't understand how this works. So here's my Q!

Is it better to post memes/that shit or create a post that took your time to research about it, edit post/video,...?

I was taught from my beginnings to create great content, not memes nor one question posts. But, time's changing so I wonder. :)
