Hi! This is my first ever post ~ finally joined the community!
Over the past week, I have been developing a Discord Bot, called “Thread”. The point of the bot is to save your message, and then send it when the desired user comes online.
It can also be used as a reminder bot, to remind yourself to do something when you go on Discord :)

Ever had to send a message, but know the person will only see it if it's sent when they are online? Here’s the solution to your problem! Thread takes your message, and keeps it nice and safe, and waits to send it until your desired human comes online!
- The bot checks every 15 minutes to see if the user has come online.
- The bot supports sending multiple messages to anybody!
- If you forget to send something in your message, don't hesitate to send another!
Here is an example on using Thread!
A demo on using Thread to send a message
- Quicker checking time, Maybe a paid version?
- Custom Prefixes
- Help Command
To add the bot to your own server, use this link: https://discordapp.com/api/oauth2/authorize?client_id=498891770835238944&permissions=0&scope=bot
Default prefix is t
do tprefix to change it, or thelp for a list of commands
Over the course of creating this bot I've learnt so much, such as how to effectively write and read .json files. It may seem simple, but to a noob it was challenging! I've learnt a lot from this project and I'm excited for what the future holds!
Thanks for reading !
