Shadows

I once feared to express any kind of negative
feeling because I believed that it meant turning
away from the light and giving in to the darkness.

For to be free to express your sadness
alongside your happiness is to create a
balance, in the form of shadows that offer
depth and definition to what we are looking at;

that provide us with a much clearer
understanding of what it is that we really feel.
