The Oostvaardersplassen is a beautiful nature reserve in the Netherlands. Covering square 56km, the park serves as a succesful example of rewilding. The land is home to many herbivores including the red deer, konik ponies and cattle. There are many species of birds including the great egret, eurasian bittern and the great cormorant.
