The first frame on his wall was a peaceful mountain. It felt so real. I remembered it took him months to finish that particular painting.
But, his favourite sits right next to his table lamp. It was a painting of a fox with fiery eyes.
If he was here, he would correct me and say it's a "red fox".
He did say that the first time I called it a fox.
His brushes will rest now, just like he did.
