Hello family on Hive Ghana! I am pleased to share my thoughts in one of the engagement topics for this week about my word to all newbies on this platform. Anyway, I extend my welcome hand to all new members on this platform.
Hive is a community for showing and discovering talents through your consistent posting of your passions. You are on the right platform as a newbie, but beware of starting another journey to your success.
This is not a scam platform, and I do not have a negative suspicion of this platform. Trust in the process and continue to keep your focus on your purpose for being on this platform. Safeguarding your hive keys is a way to avoid any scam activity on your hive account. You don't have to share your keys or make your keys known to people, as they may scam your HBD or hive. When your keys are safe, you have a secure hive wallet for your crypto assets.
Another word of advice to newbies on hive is to belong to a community on hive. You need to choose and identify the kind of posts you would be making on Hive, subscribe to those communities, and follow the community rules. As we can see, I joined hive not too long ago, but I have chosen hive Ghana to be my favorite community. I made more posts in this community than in any other community on Hive. You need to choose your communities on Hive, as you cannot actively participate in all of them, and more to the point, offline activities would not permit you.
Making quality content is a way to get attention in the hive. One way to make quality posts is to gather more information about the topic you are going to write about. Hive is not one of those web-based applications where you can just post anything. Make research and gather facts to make meaningful content that will impact the community members. Finalizing the quality of your content means learning the markdown style in the hive editor. You need to learn the basics of styling your posts on Hive to make them look nice and readable.
Limit your concentration for rewards in hive. Many people signed up on Hive and dumped their accounts because they had high expectations when they created them. We all know that the start is the problem of achieving that success. You will get the rewards naturally, and there is no need to quit because you get no or fewer votes on your post. Keep hiving, commenting, and remaining committed; the rewards will come by themselves.
It takes time to establish yourself on hive. Do not give up because the rewards are not coming. Making a schedule of your time every day to comment or make posts on Hive.This is going to keep you active and participating in activities on the hive. Keep hiving; I love you all.
