It's safe to say it's been another busy day in the welshstacker household. With Mrs W still on maternity leave, and me having to continue to go to work as a key NHS worker, Mrs W has to keep finding ingenious ways to keep 1/2pint entertained.
Waiting for me today, as I walked through the door, after a very busy day saving lives, was this.....
What on earth could this be?? On closer inspection the words "1/2pint's den" come in to view and a cheeky little laugh (trying to remain silent) comes from under the covers.
"I wonder where they could be?? Maybe everyone's out in the garden or upstairs?" I say. And in typical 4yr old fashion, 1/2pint replys "we're up stairs" (from under the sheets).
I pull back the sheets, or opening the door as 1/2pint puts it, to reveal the troops.
But where, oh where, is 1/2pint??
Time to run for cover, as a barrage of nerf bullets come flying in.
Can I just say a massive well done to Mrs W for entertaining both kids during this pandemic, I'm sure this isn't what she signed up for. With 1/2pint still not allowed to return to school, I wonder what she has planned for them tomorrow.
