Humpback, bareback, goldback..... 🍆🍆

Today, I finally got my hands on the Goldbacks I ordered through @summertooth’s community group buy, and wow—they’re even better than I imagined!

Holding these little gold-infused beauties is something else. They’re not just currency, they’re mini works of art. Each Goldback contains 1/1000 of an ounce of 24K gold and comes in denominations like 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50, all wrapped in clear polyester with incredible designs. These things are currency in places like Utah and New Hampshire, but they’ve become a global hit with collectors and gold stackers alike.

Living in Wales, getting these Goldbacks normally comes with a high premium or absurd shipping fees. But thanks to the #silvergoldstackers community—and the bromance between me and @summertooth—a group of us managed to snag them through his group buy. While we’ve never met in person, our shared love for shiny things (and dark humor) has turned into a real friendship. We might be separated by miles, but nothing brings stackers together like a good deal on gold.

These Goldbacks represent more than just a new form of currency—they show how precious metals can unite people across borders. And for me, they’re also a symbol of the unique friendships that form in this community. So here’s to @summertooth, and to all the shiny things that keep us connected!
