The sun's finally come out and I was feeling green fingers so decided to plant up a few more vegetables for the veg patch. Now this veg patch was inspired by a fellow steemian happymoneyman@happymoneyman last year, when he set a challenge to dig up your lawn for a veg patch.

Now I already have my first "main crop" potatoes in and they've reached just below the top of the bags. Now if you grow spuds, you'll know to keep "hoeing them up" (covered with soil) to maximise return on crop. So there really is bit much to see there until they breach the top of the bags and can grow, flower and produce lots of potatoes.

These 3 bags contain a variety ive never used before "red Duke of York". These were the spuds I bought in an episode of where can you spend a silver coin.

I've also planted a few more runner beans, cause you can never have enough beans. There is also a cucumber in there somewhere.

Like I said a rather dull post, but if you are a gardener like myself, you'll understand the feeling of growing and eating something you've grown yourself. You can't beat it.

Once everything grows and is ready to be eaten ill do another post to show you guys.
