My experience on hive has been an interesting one .I have learnt the importance of been guided with exposed to a new hide . So I've been following @bhoa closely and I appreciate him for the lessons learnt .
I want to use the write to talk about the lessons I have learnt on hive and about my journey so far.

Blogging has never really been my thing but I've learnt that all great men are writers. So this past week has been a training experience learning from posts on hive platform.

Community engagement

Being new to a community is like getting into a whole world. Hive is vast in terms of ideas , projects, talents and skills.
It's all about identifying what you enjoy doing getting in touch with a community that stands for your interests.

What I've learnt about community engagement is very simple. To get people interested in what you have to offer, you need to get interested in the community first.
Read articles and make comments in line with your view concerning the posts .
Hive is a social network and as much as you can you need to interact on hive and other social media platforms like Twitter to get yourself known in the community.

Quality Posting

I loved the post by @bhoa My newbie guide; What makes a post a quality one
This post explains what a quality post should look like in the view of @bhoa.
I learnt about sticking to originality and expressing myself with well sourced and Referenced content. Plagiarism is a big offense and shouldn't be encouraged.
This post in it's entirely contains adequate information for any newbie like me.

Post Promotion

Most important lesson I learnt from my referral @bhoa is how to use other social media platforms like discord and twitter to engage an audience. I learnt that no social media platform works in isolation. Same persons on hive are same persons on other media platforms and if you must establish good rapor with the community, you must use all the resources within your reach.
