It was the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugarplums danced in their heads.
But down in the living room, there was a buzz of excitement. The tree was decked with lights and ornaments, and presents were piled high beneath it.
As the clock struck midnight, a magical thing happened. The tree began to glow, and the presents came to life. A tiny Elf appeared, dancing around the tree and singing merrily.
The children woke up to the sound of the Elf's singing, and they rushed down to the living room to see what was happening. They were amazed to see the tree and the presents all aglow, and the Elf singing and dancing.
The Elf introduced himself as Jolly, and he told the children that he had come to help deliver presents to all the good boys and girls in the world. He invited the children to come with him on his journey, and they eagerly accepted.
Together, they flew through the night sky, visiting homes all around the world and delivering presents to happy children. The children had the most wonderful Christmas of their lives, and they knew that they would never forget it.
As the dawn broke and Christmas morning arrived, the children returned home, tired but happy. They fell asleep in their beds, dreaming of all the adventures they had had with Jolly the Elf. And they knew that they would always believe in the magic of Christmas.
