Heres another Organic Tesselation that I dug up from the crypt of my hard drive. I also found another Skateboard Deck design to post at a later date.... maybe if there is some kind of Skateboard Deck Design Steemit contest.

I remember drawing this while one of my teachers was talking. This is more of a doodle, but compositionally, it worked out. It's kind of like an Eye-Spy, where you can zoom in on different objects found in the cosmic molasses. These drawings are much like the dream world- where everything is effecting everything else and everything kind of melds into each other.

Ha, this person's face kind of reminds me of my teacher at the time. She didn't smoke in class or anything, but it looks just like her. Look at her ear, its an image of another woman, that woman's hair being the shape of the ear. This is what I mean when you use the negative space of shapes to create neighboring ones.

Here's another interesting little section. What do we see here? A fish, a crab, a santa claus.... and a mouse. a big mouse, do you see that? I'll flip it over...
The mouse seems to be carrying the crab in it's mouth. When I make these drawings, I tend to rotate the piece of paper that I'm working with to be able to see things from a new vantage point sometimes.

No empty space is left untended to. Every empty space looks like something else if you use your imagination hard enough. Objects looking like things is actually hard to avoid when you are working abstractly, like I will show with my next studio update, where I am rushing to finish this body of work for 2017.

Thanks for stopping by,
-zack
