To start, here are your GLYPH token staking rewards.
Remember, you’re earning an APR of 5.18%.
The !GLYPH command is working correctly—that part is all set.
Now I’m working on this:
The goal of this test is:
Voting rules for
@we-are-ai
@we-are-ai will continue voting as usual, but only on posts that meet these conditions:
- More than 500 words
- The author has a good reputation
- A 3.5% vote
- My mana must be above 96%
- The author must not be blacklisted or muted
- No NSFW, porn, sexual content, etc.
What the Hive Monitor should do
The Hive Monitor should detect votes cast by @we-are-ai and check the tags on the posts it voted on.
- If a post has the ALIVE and/or HEARTBEAT tag,
@benef.alive should vote on it.
- If a post has the ARCHON tag,
@benef.archon should vote on it.
- If a post has the BBH tag,
@benef.bbho should vote on it.
- If a post has the TRIBES tag,
@benef.tribes should vote on it.
- If a post has the NEOXIAN tag,
@benef.neoxian should vote on it.
As you can see, it’s working well. I’ve checked, and the accounts have cast their votes in turn.
The monitor should then restart the scan and check my votes in the blocks from the previous 20 minutes.
🐝 Setting Up the Hive Vote Monitor on a Local WAMP Server
Here’s how to run the Hive vote monitor on your own computer using WAMP. The dashboard will be available in your browser without being published online.
Important: The script asks Hive Keychain to cast votes at 100%. Test it carefully and supervise the browser while it runs.
1. Install and prepare WAMP
Install WAMP and start its services. Check that the WAMP icon indicates the server is running.
Next, enable PHP’s cURL extension. You can usually do this from the WAMP menu:
PHP → PHP Extensions → curl
Restart the services after enabling it.
2. Create the project folder
In WAMP’s web directory—often:
C:\wamp64\www\
create a folder for the project, for example:
C:\wamp64\www\hive-monitor\
Save the code in that folder as:
cascade.php
The JSON data file will be created alongside the script when it saves data:
bot_tags_data.json
Make sure WAMP has permission to write to this folder.
3. Configure the CA certificate
The script uses a certificate file to verify its secure connection to the Hive API. Find this line in the code:
const CA_FILE = 'C:/wamp64/cacert.pem';
Check that cacert.pem exists at that location. If it is somewhere else, update the path.
4. Choose the account and tags to monitor
To monitor a different account, change:
const SOURCE_ACCOUNT = 'we-are-ai';
The tags and their associated accounts are set in $rules:
$rules = [
'ALIVE' => 'benef.alive',
'HEARTBEAT' => 'benef.alive',
'ARCHON' => 'benef.archon',
'BBH' => 'benef.bbho',
'TRIBES' => 'benef.tribes',
'NEOXIAN' => 'benef.neoxian',
];
Adjust these entries for your setup. When a post contains one of these tags, the script creates a vote task for the associated account.
5. Open the local dashboard
In your browser, visit:
http://localhost/hive-monitor/cascade.php
If you used a different folder or filename, update the address accordingly.
You can use the page on your computer while WAMP is running. Do not upload the project to a public host without adding security protections.
6. Connect Hive Keychain
Install the Hive Keychain browser extension and log in to the accounts that will cast votes. Keep the dashboard open: its JavaScript uses Keychain to send vote requests.
The vote weight is set in the JavaScript code:
1000
On Hive, this value corresponds to a 100% vote. Change it if you want a different weight, and always check the request shown by Keychain before approving it.
7. Use the monitor
The dashboard lets you:
- start a scan with Run scan;
- view statistics for each tag;
- see detected posts;
- follow events in the activity log;
- clear the history with Clear history.
An automatic scan is scheduled every 10 minutes. The script checks the monitored account’s recent operations and processes votes from the last 20 minutes.
⚠️ A few things to keep in mind
The Clear history button and task status updates are not protected by authentication in this code. Keep the project accessible only from your computer, and don’t expose it to the internet.
If a Keychain request fails, the script retries the task indefinitely. For long-term use, consider adding a retry limit and a longer delay. Also double-check which accounts are associated with the tags before letting the monitor run.
Your Hive vote monitor is now running on your local WAMP server. 🐝
