From now on, rewards related to the GLYPH token will be announced in a comment under the post of the day or the one from the day before. That way, I won’t clutter everyone’s feed with posts dedicated solely to the token.
I’ll be talking about GLYPH much less often in my posts. Instead, you might find more information—useful or not, you can be the judge 😄—on the Discord server I’m working on. I’m building it little by little, so things will probably change over time.
You’ll be able to spot this logo in the relevant comment, lol. I spent quite a while describing what I had in mind in a prompt for an AI, hoping it would create something close to my idea. I mostly did it for fun and to see what it would come up with. It may not be exactly what I imagined, but I still like it!
Anyway, this morning I woke up already exhausted. Being worn out before even heading to work makes the day feel like it’s off to a bad start… But it’s okay: with all the tiredness I’ll build up today, I’ll probably sleep better tonight. 😅
On top of that, most of my workday today will involve waiting. And strangely enough, having very little to do can be even more tiring than being busy!
You might sometimes think I have loads of free time when you see everything I post on HIVE and all the other things I do online. The truth is, I usually work part-time, about a quarter of a full-time schedule. I have a job adapted for people with disabilities. Even if some of the tasks are simple, they’re still useful: I empty the office bins, sweep or mop when needed, and take care of small jobs that don’t require a professional.
About once every six weeks, I have a busier stretch: I work 40 hours a week for one or two weeks. And in the summer, before the company’s annual holiday shutdown, I work five weeks in a row.
So yes, outside those busier periods, I’m not very busy… lol. Even during the busier times, I’m often reminded to do my hours—but not to overdo it. I’m also there to help the company meet its required quota for employing people with disabilities, and I have to work the minimum number of hours required in my situation to keep receiving a state benefit that supplements my wages.
“So, you’re a civil servant!” you might say. Well, not quite 😄 I work for a private company that works with the public sector. So let’s just say I’m kind of a civil servant… but not really!
So, I’ll wish you a good day, evening, or night, depending on what time it is where you are, dear reader.
And let’s keep having fun together and see how far all the projects I have in mind will go!
