We know that the ratios are almost equal for crimes by gender, but whether it's the same for different age groups is not. I keep listening to these talks about the crimes and deaths, and I got to know that the ratio is not equal among the crimes done by people of different age groups, but do you really think that if a person is of a small age or a elder citizen, then he should be given less punishment or should be equally punished like others?
In my opinion, yes, because a crime is done by knowing each and every situation whether it is a 10 year old boy or a 70 year old senior citizens all should treated by punishing equally because every crime is done knowingly and if a person does not do any crime then, he is all aware that what to do and what not to do, because of which he gets involved in any crime or gets punished legally. We should be aware of the crimes because in some cases, people commit crimes unknowingly because they do not know that it is a crime馃槀. Similarly, people can murder someone and then simply say that they didn't know that it is a crime馃槄. So, we should treat people equally in terms of punishment, regardless of age.
