Diet, Weightless, Aging, and Health
Taking care of our bodies with diet, exercise, and proper supplementation has been known to yield positive long term results and could vastly improve the quality of your life. It is important to know a few things first before one begins such a practice. Disclaimer: I am not a medical professional, the advice here is based solely upon my own personal experiences.
Over the course of my experience, I have tried lots of different vitamins and minerals, all in the hopes of finding the one thing or combination of things that would give me lots of energy and leave me feeling younger. Inflammation and the feeling of sore stiff muscles becomes a problem with age; and I have found some ways to fight back.
My number one pick for overall age related support is MSM (Methylsufonylmethane). They are not all alike however, I recommend Rich's MSM as the best. MSM is great for joint support and anti-inflammation. I would take 1000mg for every 50 pounds of body weight. Load up on it in the beginning, say twice a day, then after a week only take it once a day. I have experience working with animal anatomy; as we age our bones calcify with time, I have seen many examples of this and it is the same with us. It is my opinion that regular supplementation of MSM may actually inhibit this process. MSM is renown for healthy joint support. Rich Distributing has documentation on their website supporting the claims of MSM. http://www.richdistributing.com/
My next pick for anti aging is the micro nutrient Bio PQQ; Details are listed here: http://www.biopqq.com/ The claims of Bio PQQ are nerve growth factor, increasing mitochondria, and as a antioxidant. From my personal experience, I actually feel a little smarter! I don't know if my feeling is worth the $1 per pill. I ordered enough for about 4 months so I could see if I noticed any longer term effects. I would advise caution with this one, while I think that I have gotten results out of this, the cost is quite high and the long term effects questionable.
A much cheaper alternative for micro nutrient supplementation would be the addition of Himalayan Salt to your diet. There is a huge difference between the salt that you will find in the grocery store which is made by purely chemical processes verses natural salt that is mined ether by the Ocean or the Earth. Another low cost addition to nutritional supplementation is Spirulina. Spirulina is made from blue green algae and is an excellent source of naturally occurring amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins and minerals.
Nascent Iodine detoxes the body of harmful heavy metals and halogens like fluoride. People are becoming aware of the dangers of fluoride in their drinking water; fluoride has been linked to IQ reduction in children.

The cost of nascent Iodine is quite low and you only need three drops. I don't even take this everyday. I also filter my water and brush my teeth with fluoride free toothpaste. I like Tom's of Maine Fennel flavor. Baking Soda also makes a great teeth whitener!
A regular bowl flush is a great way to get rid of built up toxins within your body.

The $1.41 Cleanse:
Another way to cleanse would be a parasite Cleanse. I have used Paratrex from The Global Healing Center Website:http://www.globalhealingcenter.com Dr.Edward Group is the foremost expert on living a toxic free life and has writen a book called
The Green Body Cleanse which you receive as a part of your order. This PDF has 324 pages of some of the most disturbing and useful information that you never knew that you needed to know. I highly suggest that anybody who is serious about taking care of themselves and changing their lifestyle for the better definitely check this out.
More great finds to mention: Braggs Liquid Aminos and Apple Cider Vinegar. These products make me feel great and are delicious addition to any diet.
I have discovered the slimming effects of eating fats, specifically by taking vitamin D. Apparently if you include fats in your diet, your body doesn’t need to produce more of it. Getting lot's of sunshine and supplementing with Vitamin D especially if you live in the northern climates as I do in order to keep the pounds off in the winter time.
There are some supplements that I have stopped taking, primarily Vitamin C. I noticed that my gums were bleeding and I read somewhere that synthetic forms of vitamin C being incomplete forms can cause bleeding gums. I stopped taking it and behold, my gums stopped bleeding.
Tribulus Terrestris, a male performance herb that claims to boost libido. Save your money, I haven’t noticed anything of value here. There are other herbs like maca root that have much more promise. I have yet to try this and when I do I will give a report about it.
There is a difference between synthetic vitamins and whole foods based vitamins. Dr. Axe talks about it here.
Dr. Axe list three company’s that make whole foods based vitamins: Axe Naturals, Megafood, and Garden of Life.
Finally, If you are looking to reduce toxins in your life, look into Soap Nuts! I have found these natural alternatives to all things soap, but I have yet to get them. I will, and when I do I will let you all know.
