The Future is Closer Than You Think
Recently I've been trying to look less at daily price movements and try to enjoy my life off the blockchain. Honestly, I'm not planning on selling my Steem really ever, so what's the point going down the rabbit hole of constantly refreshing my Blockfolio and daily price predictions on Youtube.
That being said, I've been having a hard time thinking about what to write that would still engage my two or three daily readers. I figured we all have the belief and love of Steem in common, so let's do a little thought experiment.
How Will You Use Your Steem to Change Your Life
I think when Steem hits ~$5 I'd be in a position where the steem I earn from delegating and blogging will be significant enough to make a noticeable impact on my life. I don't plan on ever selling my powered up Steem, but I might start taking a little profit around that price point to improve the quality of my life.
I'm not thinking of doing anything major like buying a car, but I might start paying off some of my 400k in loans I have compounding, or simply settling some funds aside to do some well deserved traveling.
Once Steem hits ~10$ I think I might start thinking about using some of my rewards towards buying some real estate in my area to further diversify my portfolio. I've always been in love with the thought of passive income from rental properties or the rush one might get from a house flip!
Once we start climbing into unforeseen prices and we start to feel a bit over valued, I might start powering down maybe 30% of my holdings to survive the next bear market. My dream was always to be come an Orca and then a whale, so I think having a good head on my shoulders when everyone is FOMOing is going to be key in making that happen!
