I won't walk the plank, she spat at the pirate with the wicked left hook.
He leered at her in her flimsy muslin dress as he poked his sword at her side and she sidestepped his parey.
Devil's Bard winced as she shot her piercing stare his way. He considered how much she'd be worth on the slave market as an indentured slave, or better yet, as his own personal slave. He spat out a wad of slimy tobacco. It landed in a dark wad on the plank and he moved a black boot to push it off the plank while laughing at her. She had spunk. He'd give her that much. She fondled the shiney pirate beads his captian gave her. His one eye studied her slender figure and he moved closer to her.
"You'd win more favor with honey, wench."
She looked caustically at his scarred face and a curl formed the lips of her young face.
"Over my dead body."
"That could easily be arranged." She stepped to the side and said,"The plank is free."
He laughed uproariously. The pirates looking on clapped at her spunk.
"Spare the wench, Spiro!" came the collective chant.
"Spare the wench! Spare the wench!"
She fondled the shiney pirate's beads in her slender hand.
He frowned for a moment, then cut off her ropes.
"Get to my quarters!" Spiro barked.
She tossed the beads off the plank and moved to jump off the plank.
He grabbed her arm and pulled her back.
"To the galleon, wench!" Spiro barked.
She smiled with a demure smile and skipped down the deck with skirts flying.
"Next!" Spiro roared.
