She bent to tie her shoes and Angel said, "You're socks don't match!"
Tina stood up and eyed her friend.
"Seriously, Angel? Do you always have to be such a nitpicker?"
Angel giggled and nodded, tossing a matching pair of blue socks at her best friend.
"I'm here to keep you straight."
Tina grabbed the socks and tossed them back.
"Oh, WHAT would I do without a friend like you? Aren't friends supposed to accept their friends as they are?"
"Sure! But I DO have to be seen with you!" Angel hugged Tina and grabbed her sneakers.
"Where are we going today?"
"I thought we'd run by the lake and check out the new lake house restaurant. You need matching socks at the least!"
Tina growled and pulled off her sneakers and put on the matching socks.
"There, happy now?"
"Only if the new neighbor's sons show up there for lunch!"
"You're impossible, Angel. You'd have a better shot if my socks are mismatched!"
