The name given to this bakery is indeed on point. After our first visit, it left a 'top impression' on us.
Located right across the road from Wolli Creek train station and bus stop, this bakery is located conveniently in a corner of Wolli Creek's main complex.
It isn't like your everyday Asian bakery that sells pork buns, pineapple buns and sponge cakes but instead they bring out a European and Asian fushion to their products.
The moment you walk straight through their door, you're welcomed by a neat display of varieties which will definitely cause you to come to a halt to think that you'd want to buy everything they had to offer.
The matcha croissant and the ferrero rocher croissant are their most popular items. Back two years ago when they first opened this bakery, you'd have to visit this place early if you wanted the matcha croissant. Not to mention the long queue and the many trains you'd miss just to get your hands on these goodies.
We got the 2 popular items from the bakery and took a seat outside to soak up some sun. This place also serves coffee and tea so its a great place to have breakfast, morning tea or even afternoon tea.
Filled with matcha cream, it easily oozes out with every bite. It's not so sweet too which doesn't over power the savoury croissant.
Unlike the matcha croissant, the ferrero rocher is filled with dark chocolate that does not ooze out but rather keeps its form after we cut it. It is topped with different nuts thats held down by more chocolate!
We ordered 2 teas as well and it all rang up to $18 AUD for 2 people. It's a little pricey compared to alot of the other bakeries around in Sydney.
This place is usually open from around 6:30AM to 6:00PM on most days (varies if its on the weekend).
Great place to visit if you're on a coffee date, catching up with friends or simply wanting to wind down and soak up some sun. Of course, you can always purchase the bread and have on the go or take home.
