Wild animals are very interesting when we go to the forest. So today I was hunting for some photos, including a dragonfly, which I managed to photograph

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well!
Today, I took a bit of time to go for a relaxing walk around the bushes and ridge paths near the village. My initial plan was just to clear my mind while looking for interesting macro objects to photograph. As I was closely inspecting the leaves, I spotted a dragonfly perched peacefully on an old bamboo branch.
This particular species (Orthetrum sabina) is quite common around open fields or near water bodies. Even so, getting a clear and focused photo still requires a fair amount of patience. You have to step very slowly and carefully so the movement or vibration doesn't startle it into flying away. Fortunately, this afternoon it was pretty cooperative, giving me enough time to snap a few clean shots before it zipped off into the air
Taking a moment to appreciate simple nature moments like this never fails to bring a sense of calm. That’s all for today's short hunting story.
Thank you so much for stopping by and reading! How about in your area—do you still see these green dragonflies around often?
