“In the rusty oblivion that goes on too long and where also the tides have hidden their meaning beneath the ennui of their movement, life as a clockwork breath comes unheralded and the reasons for turning lose all meaning and the distance, once so mysterious becomes an extension of what rains too much, and like a ship in the vast sea, all movement forward halted, thoughts become wayward, and doubt talks too loud.
In this place one might feel abandoned and grow small under the weight that seeps to your heart to pull you under and never let you go, ever.
Such darkness invites the nightmare to encroach upon the edges of sanity to plant seeds of ruin and laugh where no laughter should be.
Looking up from this horror story one might say WTF, but then the eyes in terrible fascination fall again, and falling are caught in some Dracula’s fang that sucks upon your mind to pull you in.
It is here you are caught where the darkness of your own soul rouses to know more, to relate in recognition of that part of you hidden so long and finally awakening to take wing again and become that terrible finality you spent so long taming to lock away forever in the darkest part of yourself.
You snap the book shut with a shudder and refuse to read more and lock again the darkness away to sleep. Not this day are you strong enough to reveal that, that half of your being so terrible, you shudder at its very idea.
Fear is a strong insurgent and fights to take hold and pull you in, and there in the shaky stuff to be but a pawn, lost and alone and easy prey for all the bad stuff.
No wonder then you are so caught in a major dilemma where you separate the parts of your being to fit into the social structure where your standing has been built, and built serves only that which is outside of your self, that self so long denied,” said the rushing river going nowhere.
“Huh?” said Captain Morgan Jones drunk again.

FOREIGN POLICY
“So when they said bring out the dead I thought put out the cat and proceeded to do so through the crack in the window, which was not a lot of use as it came straight back in again through the cat flap and gave me the beady eye.
Well, there you go, I thought, and went off to find something else to do and what with all the airborne viruses and such going around I can’t say for sure I’ll be around for much longer, especially when the government’s foreign policy now is to pay terrorists lots of money for anyone they can capture, I mean, it’s like open season on anyone leaving the country.
So I’ve decided to stay at home and watch the news on TV telling me how bad it is out there and if the government can’t get me one way they’ll get me another.
They say I’ve got a ten percent chance of survival, what with the fires and floods, terrorists, taxes and government all out to get me.
So I’m glued to the TV as the world goes to hell and the rich laugh their heads off...
Foreign policy, it’s all foreign to me as they break the world...” said the man in his balloon floating by outside the submarine to himself and his TV, alone with nobody else near.
