I live in a small town and there is not much variety in the choice of our restaurants. In fact, this is the only Thai cuisine restaurant that we have. That doesn't mean that it isn't a top notch restaurant though. It's a great place for either a leisurely sit down meal or a fast carry-out meal.
In their front window, they have a large painting done by a local artist. It features a quote from Abraham Lincoln, who is a prominant part of the local history. Lincoln was the US's 16th President and he spent time here as governor when this was the state capitol of Illinois.
They also have some interesting wall hanging on the interior.
I'm sure you are more interested in the menu and the food though! The menu has plenty to offer. You can order anything with varying degrees of "heat" so that you can match the level of spiciness to your own taste.
I ordered the Pad Garlic Chicken which comes with rice. It was seasoned perfectly and the veggies were still firm. There was way too much rice, so I ended up leaving about half of that. Better too much that too little. It was also served with an egg roll and dipping sauce. Very flavorful.
My dining companion ordered Pad Broccoli Chicken and declined the rice.
We also ordered crab rangoon to share. It was very rich and creamy, a perfect compliment to our entrees.
The service was very good, the owner also came out and asked us how we liked our meal. The price was very reasonable, the total for both meals, drinks and the crab ragoon was less than $20.
I was recommend this restaurant to friends and family, and I'll definitely be back!
