The Vertex Ventures China, a fund of Temasek announces that it has invested Binance, founding Binance Singapore to promote Binance in this region. Investment from Vertex Ventures China will be used to open an exchange supporting fiat currency.
Temasek Holdings Private Limited (abbreviated as Temasek) is a Singaporean holding company owned by the Government of Singapore. The Vertex Ventures China and Temasek invest Binance and will open Binance Singapore, which will support fiat currecy. Does it mean that Binance has the support from Singapore government now? Is this investment just a symbol or it will actually help Binance to expand the market in South East Asia?
