It is so refreshing to start the day with a long walk in nature. 🌿
This morning was perfect because the air was cool and the sun was just starting to peek through the leaves. I decided to hike up the mountain near our town for some peace and quiet.
The path up the mountain is very rocky and uneven. Looking down, the ground is covered in dark, rough stones and dry leaves that crunch under my feet. It is a bit of a climb, but the view looking up makes it worth it.
I love the fresh air and the tall trees 🌳
As I walked higher, I was surrounded by many different kinds of tall trees.
Some trees have very long, thin roots that hang down like curtains from the branches. Those are the Balete Trees.
Others are so tall that their green leaves almost hide the blue sky.
I even saw a thick tree trunk with bright green ferns growing right out of its side!
The trees keep the path shaded. Because of all this greenery, the air feels very fresh and clean. It makes breathing easy while I hike.
The mountain is not completely empty. I passed a few small houses tucked away between the trees. It must be very quiet to live there, with only the sound of the wind and the birds every day.
Walking here is a great way to clear my mind. Everything is so green and still. By the time I finished my hike, I felt energized and ready for the day.
