Hi guys!
As some of you many know if you’ve followed me for a while we got an allotment a few weeks back and quickly got to work and got some chickens! Well today we found our first eggs!! It was so exciting ! They are smaller than normal as they are the first young eggs but they tasted amazing and so rich, so much better than bought ones! I wish we knew which chicken it was that laid them!! We’ve also been to work on the garden area and planted some fruit and veg. Atm we have rhubarb, lettuce, strawberries, broccoli, raspberries, blueberries, and a few others things. I can’t wait To get more and also see how they grow! We are completely new to this so atm it’s all a very fun experiment! The flowers are coming out as well which are so beautiful. It’s so nice to have a project to work on in the sun, and atm it’s actually too hot to be outside for that long! Another project this week is to build some furniture out of some pallets for the garden! Has anyone tried this before? I’ve seen loads of ideas online so we will just give it a go and see what happens! Hope you have a nice day!
