Something Ems and I've been building quietly for a while is finally ready to share: Second Desk Consulting (we call it 2DC on the team) is officially live.
If you've followed my authoring journey, you know I wear a lot of hats — and a few months back I hit a wall. It started with marketing my books and then shifted even faster when I launched my Udemy course. Too much admin, not enough hours, and when I tried outsourcing it, I got burned by people who didn't understand my business and made more work for me than they saved.
So, we brought in family to help. Very quickly, among content creators our size, we were in the top 10 globally on Pinterest and TikTok. The team did such a good job that other business owners started asking if we could help them too. That's how 2DC was born.
We're a small, dedicated team — there are now nine of us handling admin, marketing, website building and maintenance, audio/video production, and graphic media work for small business owners so they can get back to doing the work only they can do. Not a call center. A support team that actually knows what it takes for you to run a business.
