Battle

The ruleset for this battle is COUNTERSPELL (All units receive additional MAGIC REFLECT ability), SILENCED SUMMONERS (Summoners cannot use their abilities), and ARMORED UP (All units receive an additional 2 ARMOR).

In the first round, Vruz, Void Dragon, Iziar, Oshuur Constantia, and Scavo Hireling attacked Arkemis the Bear and put him in RAGE mode. Meanwhile, Berix Snakeye failed to land his attack on Arkemis the Bear due to the SPEED difference between the two.

Vruz's ARMOR was damaged by Arkemis the Bear, then repaired by Scavo Hireling using the REPAIR ability. However, the ARMOR was damaged again by Radiated Brute. Meanwhile, Molten Ash Golem, Lava Launcher, Supply Runner, and Countess Sinash attacked Iziar.

In the second round, Vruz was defeated by Arkemis the Bear but was resurrected by Oshuur Constantia using the RESURRECT ability. Void Dragon received additional points in all of its stats due to the effect of the MARTYR ability. Supply Runner defeated Iziar so Void Dragon and Oshuur Constantia received additional points in their stats due to the effect of Iziar's MARTYR ability.

Countess Sinash failed to land her attack on Vruz, but she was defeated by Radiated Brute and Lava Launcher. That gave the advantage to Void Dragon who received another point due to the defeat of Vruz. Void Dragon managed to avoid the attack by Molten Ash Golem.

Arkemis the Bear was defeated by attacks from Void Dragon, Scavo Hireling, and Oshuur Constantia. Scavo Hireling took the time to repair Void Dragon's ARMOR before attacking. Meanwhile, Berix Snakeye damaged Radiated Brute's ARMOR.

In the third round, Void Dragon and Radiated Brute attacked each other. Radiated Brute countered an attack from Void Dragon using MAGIC REFLECT he received from the COUNTERSPELL ruleset. Scavo Hireling repaired Void Dragon's ARMOR but he failed to land his attack on Radiated Brute. The Radiated Brute was only defeated by an attack from Oshuur Constantia. Berix Snakeye damaged the ARMOR of Molten Ash Golem.

Supply Runner, Lava Launcher, and Molten Ash Golem failed to land their attacks on Void Dragon. Meanwhile, Countess Sinash directed her attack at Berix Snakeye and dealt additional damage via BLAST on Scavo Hireling. Oshuur Constantia survived the BLAST because she has the REFLECTION SHIELD ability.

In the fourth round, Void Dragon attacked Molten Ash Golem but he also took damage from the MAGIC REFLECT ability. Supply Runner and Lava Launcher successfully landed their attacks on Void Dragon. Meanwhile, Countess Sinash attacked Berix Snakeye again and dealt additional damage to Scavo Hireling.

Scavo Hireling repaired Berix Snakeye's ARMOR and Oshuur Constantia healed Void Dragon. Afterward, they both attacked and defeated Molten Ash Golem. Berix Snakeye failed to land his attack on Lava Launcher who now took first place.

In the fifth round, Void Dragon attacked Lava Launcher but he again took damage from MAGIC REFLECT. Supply Runner managed to injure Void Dragon while Countess Sinash and Lava Launcher failed to injure it.

Scavo Hireling repairs Berix Snakeye's ARMOR but he fails to land his attack on Lava Launcher. The Lava Launcher was only defeated by an attack from Oshuur Constantia who healed Void Dragon first. Berix Snakeye damaged Supply Runner's ARMOR.

In the sixth round, Supply Runner took an attack from Void Dragon but she countered it with her MAGIC REFLECT ability. Countess Sinash managed to land her attack on Void Dragon but Oshuur Constantia was protected from the BLAST that was the effect of the attack because she had the REFLECTION SHIELD ability.

Scavo Hireling repaired Void Dragon's ARMOR and defeated Supply Runner. Oshuur Constantia and Berix Snakeye attacked Countess Sinash only to be defeated in the next round by an attack from Void Dragon which was then defeated by MAGIC REFLECT.

Battle Review

The decision to use VOID units in the COUNTERSPELL ruleset is one that I sometimes use when there are no units that fit my strategy. This time, I used 3 magic units and 2 of them had VOID abilities (Oshuur Constantia already has REFLECTION SHIELD which can protect her from the effects of COUNTERSPELL ruleset). When they (VOID units) still have an Attack power of 2 points, they do not take damage even if the target counters their attack using the MAGIC REFLECT ability. That is because the counterattack is only 1 point and they have the VOID ability which makes the attack not reduce their HP.

It was only when Void Dragon received additional points from MARTYR units that it took damage from the MAGIC REFLECT ability (only 1 point lower than without having the VOID ability. fortunately Oshuur Constantia healed it so that it could still survive even though several attacks from the opponent's units hurt it.
