Daily Challenges — one challenge a day, a badge for every one you meet
Update, October 25, 2026: five of the challenges are now easier to reach. Battles got shorter after the Second Wind rework, so their targets came down to match — the old figures are struck through in the list below. Badges already earned stay on your profile.
Update, October 26, 2026: meeting the Daily Challenge now earns a bonus Talisman as well as its badge. The old "no prize" line is struck through below.
Splinterlanes is a three-lane way to play Splinterlands: two players battle across a Friendly Lane, the Command Lane and a Hostile Lane, with Decks built from their own Splinterlands cards, and a battle for 🎟 Tickets pays the winner a real card. From today there is one more thing to play for in those battles: a Daily Challenge.
One challenge, the same for everyone
Every day brings one challenge, and it is the same for every player. Today's sits on the Ranked tile in the lobby, beside its own engraved badge, with a line saying what it asks:
Meet it in a win in any battle for Tickets — Ranked, Sealed, Draft or a Private Room played for stakes — and the badge is yours. The result screen tells you the moment it happens.
A new challenge starts at midnight UTC. Practice battles and free Private Rooms do not count: a challenge is met in play that is on the line.
There is no prize for it. It pays a bonus Talisman — a Talisman sets the rules of your Friendly Lane, and this one lands in your inventory on top of the win's own prize, like the first-win Talisman. The card prize for the win is exactly what it was, and the challenge still never touches the 98% of Ticket revenue that goes back out as cards. What it gives you is a bonus Talisman, a badge on your player profile, a count of how many times you have earned it, and a day streak.
The eight challenges
The challenges rotate, one a day, so every one comes round. Each has its own badge:
- Hands On — Win without a single round skipped for you — keep a playable card in Hand every round.
- Neutral Ground — Win after placing at least
108 Neutral Monsters. - Rout — Win after sending your opponent into Second Wind at least
103 times. - Hold the Command — Win after placing at least
109 Monsters in the Command Lane. - Restraint — Win after placing no more than 3 Legendary Monsters.
- Full Ranks —
Win with every Lane full at the end — 6 of your Monsters standing in each.Win with at least 3 of your Monsters standing in every Lane at the end. - Into Hostile Ground — Win after placing at least
109 Monsters in your Hostile Lane. - Light Footprint — Win after placing no more than 5 Monsters that cost 7 Mana or more.
None of them needs a card you may not own. Every challenge is judged on how you played the match — where you placed Monsters, which ones, and what was standing at the end — so any Deck can meet any of them. Some you will meet without trying. Others ask you to build for the day: a Deck heavy in Neutral Monsters for Neutral Ground, a cheap one for Light Footprint, a push into your opponent's half of the board for Into Hostile Ground.
Your badges
Your profile's Daily Challenges section shows all eight badges. The ones you have earned stand at full ink with their count; the ones you haven't are dimmed until you do. Above them: how many challenges you have completed in all, your current day streak, and your best. A streak counts consecutive days with a challenge met; miss a day and it starts again at one.
Profiles are public, so your badges are too. The Privacy Policy now lists your Daily Challenge record among what a profile shows, effective today.
