I've just made a purchase without getting a second opinion, but that said, it's still a good lens, just not for what my brain thought it'll be for lol I've used it a lot yesterday after writting this and discovered a ton of possibilities.
And there we go, you've proved me that brilliant photos can be taken with it, and it's perfect for them shy animals that would get spooked if you'd come any closer.
