It could be any day of the week and our cat wouldn't do anything more then lick herself, ask for food and destroy every centimeter of every carpet or rug in the house.
Most cats reach their maturity...I can't actually continue this sentence because, well, because they never really reach their maturity. And that's one of the parts why we love them as much as we do!
Our cat, Mikaela, is our super pet and to be honest, she's actually much more then that, big big part of our family! Not a day goes by that she wouldn't make us happy, even when there's one to many of those 'meow' noises.
She's starting to set out a routine to which we all try to do our best to accommodate her. Throughout the day, just by looking at what time it is, we'll know exactly what she'll do next, how long she will sleep, when she'll be asking for food and so forth. Every evening on days when I'm going to work, she'll come and sit in front the bathroom as I'm getting ready. After that she'll follow me around whilst I'm getting dressed and getting all other things done. As I make my way to my car she'll accompany me and sit at the front door's porch watching me drive away!
Taking photos of our cat whilst she's sat outside in the garden, is nothing short of having super skills! The reason for me saying that is simple; she just never stops turning her head! A noise here, more noises there, birds flying, dogs barking...it's literally a neverending story! I think I've spent half an hour before getting a single non-blur photo of our cat. Of course, to make eveything even better, she decided to lick her self for a duration of another 30 minutes, like she knew what I'm trying to do. Eventually I managed to distract her with making noises which will make her look my way and the result is what you can find below. Not to forget to mention, that once I've given up and put the camera away, cat decided to absolutely nothing at all, not even moving her head.
At one point (as seen on the last photo), she thought that turning her back on me will stop me from taking any more photos of her...she couldn't be more wrong. All of the photos were taken in raw form, and apart from the 1st photo which was turned to monochrome, all other stayed untouched. I'm slowly but surely getting the hang of my new camera and photos are turning better, which is super good news. Special thanks go to our cat Mikaela for putting up with an hour long photoshoot.
