Hello my Stemian #needleworkmonday friends!
Finally, two and a half years later, on Easter Sunday afternoon, I was able to have a photo shoot I'd been looking forward to for quite a while now :-)
My Irish Crochet dress is finally properly finished :-DDDD
Here are some pics I'm happy to share.
But I have one question:
As you are looking at the pictures, you'll see that in some pictures I wear the dress with a black undergarment whereas in others with a light coloured undergarment.
Tell me, which do you think looks better?
And here's the lighter undergarment:
Here are some details:
One of those dark nights as I was completing the dress, I thought to myself this has been my first and is going to be my LAST Irish lace dress...
NEVER again, I thought to myself!!!
But now, as I've completed the dress, and have had a chance to enjoy it a little, I'm not so sure anymore...
...another Irish lace project just might happen at some stage in future :D although it's not a promise...
And in the meantime, here are the blog posts I wrote before, showing what the process of making this dress looks like.
