Distributed ledger technology (DLT) such as blockchain could generate $1 trillion in new trade over the next ten years, a joint report from the World Economic Forum (WEF) claims Thursday, September 13.
The report, ‘Trade Tech – A New Age for Trade and Supply Chain Finance’, published in collaboration with Bain & Company, evaluates DLT prospects within the global trade finance industry.

“The days of explosive growth in the blockchain industry have likely come and gone now that the average person is aware of its existence, according to Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum”, reports Bloomberg.
Buterin’s basic point is that now the average person is aware of cryptocurrencies, speculators hoping for further value appreciation based on marketing and wider adoption are “getting close to hitting a dead end”.
Buterin seems one of the most sincere and well intended people in the crypto world, and also one who is not afraid to take the needle to the balloon of inflated hopes and misguided ideas.
I think he’s right. New demand for crypto requires new interest and new interest needs a new dynamic or role for crypto to come in to play.

U.S. banking giant Morgan Stanley is planning to offer clients Bitcoin trade swaps, anonymous sources told Bloomberg Thursday, September 13.
Citing “people familiar with the matter,” the publication reveals the U.S. multinational will follow in the footsteps of fellow Wall Street players in pursuing Bitcoin exposure options.

Constantinople, ethereum's next system-wide upgrade, is coming soon to a node near you.
Finalized August 31, Constantinople includes five different ethereum improvement proposals (EIPs). Once released on ethereum, the proposals will permanently alter the blockchain with a host of new backwards-incompatible upgrades.
This means that nodes — the network of computers that run ethereum software — must either update together with the whole system or continue running as a separate blockchain entity.

The drop is continuing on our crypto STEEM. As I'm predicting since some days now, I'm really afraid that we try to test the 0.30$ level if we don't have a major bounce on the BTC.
Anyway, everything is not yet lost because if we look the long term daily chart, we are currently testing a lont term support line which could hold the drop, at least for some days :
