The Welcome Shade of the Coconut Palms
As I walked through the hotel grounds during one of my daily rounds, I couldn't help noticing how intense the sun has become. The mornings are growing warmer, and before noon the heat already makes itself felt in every open space.
Fortunately, the coconut palms scattered throughout the hotel offer more than just a tropical landscape. Their long leaves cast beautiful shadows on the ground, creating small patches of shade that make the walk much more pleasant. It is a simple gift from nature, one that both people and the surrounding vegetation seem to appreciate.
I paused for a moment to photograph one of those shadows. I liked the way the sunlight filtered through the palm leaves, drawing elegant shapes on the pavement. Sometimes the simplest scenes become the most interesting, especially when light and nature work together to create them.
The photos were taken with my mobile phone, and for the English version I used Google Translate.

La agradable sombra de los cocoteros
Mientras recorría las áreas del hotel en una de mis caminatas diarias, no pude dejar de notar lo fuerte que está el sol por estos días. Cada mañana el calor se hace sentir más temprano y caminar por los espacios abiertos resulta cada vez más intenso.
Por suerte, los cocoteros repartidos por todo el hotel ofrecen mucho más que un hermoso paisaje tropical. Sus largas hojas proyectan sombras sobre el suelo, creando pequeños refugios donde los rayos del sol pierden intensidad y el recorrido se hace mucho más agradable. Es un regalo sencillo de la naturaleza que tanto las personas como las plantas agradecen.
Me detuve unos instantes para fotografiar una de esas sombras. Me gustó la forma en que la luz atravesaba las hojas y dibujaba figuras elegantes sobre el pavimento. A veces las escenas más simples son las que terminan llamando más la atención, sobre todo cuando la naturaleza y la luz trabajan juntas para crearlas.
Las fotos fueron tomadas con el móvil y para la versión en inglés utilicé el traductor de Google.
