Sometimes even the simplest tasks can become a little complicated. The electric van used at the hotel to transport and load things had already had one of its tires changed. Unfortunately, the valve failed, so the tire had to be removed and replaced again.
A veces hasta las tareas más sencillas pueden complicarse un poco. El furgón eléctrico que utilizamos en el hotel para transportar y cargar cosas ya había tenido uno de sus neumáticos cambiado. Por desgracia, la válvula volvió a fallar, así que hubo que desmontar la rueda y cambiarla nuevamente.
There it was, under the strong Cuban sun, temporarily without one wheel and resting on the hydraulic jack. It was certainly not the most comfortable moment for the people working on it, but as a shadow hunter, I could not miss the opportunity to photograph the scene and its shadow.
Allí estaba, bajo el fuerte sol cubano, temporalmente sin una rueda y apoyado sobre el gato hidráulico. Sin duda no era el momento más cómodo para quienes estaban trabajando en él, pero como cazador de sombras no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de fotografiar la escena y su sombra.
Not every shadow comes from a beautiful or carefully prepared scene. Sometimes they appear in the middle of an inconvenient moment, while we are simply trying to solve one more problem during the workday.
No todas las sombras aparecen en escenas bonitas o preparadas con cuidado. A veces surgen en medio de un momento incómodo, mientras simplemente intentamos resolver un problema más durante la jornada de trabajo.
