A Reflection Waiting for Me
Un reflejo que me estaba esperando
When I arrived at the hotel where I stay during my work week, I found out that my room had been changed. I have to admit that this is something that really bothers me, not because of the room itself, but because of the reasons behind the change. However, there are times when it is better not to waste time on unnecessary complaints and try to find the good side of what happens to us.
Al llegar al hotel donde me hospedo durante mi semana de trabajo, me encontré con que me habían cambiado de habitación. Debo reconocer que es algo que realmente me incomoda, no por la habitación en sí, sino por los motivos del cambio. Sin embargo, hay momentos en que es mejor no perder el tiempo en reclamos innecesarios y tratar de buscarle el lado bueno a las cosas que nos pasan.
So I stepped out onto the balcony, and there it was, almost as if it had been waiting for me: the hotel pool. The calm, clear water was reflecting part of the hotel's structure, creating a beautiful image right below my balcony.
Así que me asomé al balcón y allí estaba, casi como si me estuviera esperando: la piscina del hotel. El agua tranquila y cristalina reflejaba parte de la estructura del propio hotel, creando una hermosa imagen justo debajo de mi balcón.
Maybe the room change was not what I wanted, but at least it gave me a different view. Sometimes, without looking for them, these little moments help us change our mood and see something beautiful where we least expected it.
Quizás el cambio de habitación no era lo que quería, pero al menos me regaló una vista diferente. A veces, sin buscarlos, estos pequeños momentos nos ayudan a cambiar el ánimo y a descubrir algo bonito donde menos lo esperábamos.
