Pomegranate

This is the first pomegranate from my small tree . Yet to grow and I don't know what variety is it. It is grown as a fruit crop, ornamental trees, shrubs in gardens and parks.When you cut the pomegranate fruit, you can see the gem like pulpy seeds.Most probably its in red color or pink or white. Pomegranate fruit can be consumed raw. Pomegranate juice is sweet and sour in taste. The taste differs depending on the variety and its ripeness. It is very good for health and skin. It is one of the few fruits whose juice is beneficial as the fruit itself. Pomegranate is a good source of fiber.
