Hello ASEAN Buddies...

alt

This was my second time participating in an event held by my company. Just like last year, I signed up as a volunteer to babysit the employees' children while they played at the playground. This event was for employees' children aged 3 to 11. My group was tasked with babysitting 20 children, ages 6 and up.

This year's event was held at a playground called Kiztopia, located at Agora Mall, Thamrin, Central Jakarta. This year's event lasted two days. On the first day, I was completely drained of energy.

Day 1 Kids Day

alt

Day 1 – I wasn't actually nervous, as this was my second time volunteering. I expected to be able to participate, as the children I was babysitting would be hard to find—they were running everywhere. Sure enough, by the first hour of the event, I was exhausted and dizzy. Maybe it was because I hadn't had enough breakfast. But surprisingly, I was accompanying an adorable child. His name was Reiga, and he was only 4 years old. He wasn't the kid I was responsible for; he was in a different group. But because he suddenly came up to me and asked to see his mother for a moment, I was stuck with him. After meeting his mother, he kept asking me to play. When he went down the slide, I had to follow behind him. When he went on the swing, I had to play too.

It was quite tiring, but because he was adorable, I didn't stop and kept following him.

Day 2 Kids Day

Day 2 – I was more ready to look after the kids again. I'd had a full meal and boosted my energy with a cup of coffee with milk. Sure enough, even though the kids were tiring, I enjoyed playing with them even more on the second day. I wasn't exhausted, and time went by very quickly. It's true that I didn't have kids to look after until I was exhausted like on the first day. All the kids played independently, and I just kept an eye on them. Occasionally, I joined in with the other volunteers. I thoroughly enjoyed my second day.

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.

I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
